THE ELIGIBLE GROOM!
I am no different than any girl of Delhi. So when I celebrated my 23rd bday, my mom made sure that every near and dear ones must be employed to search for a Dulha for their marriageable daughter. Phone calls were made ,relatives were informed ,not so known relatives uncles and aunties were employed to do groom search for me .It seemed like every SAM ,DAM ,DAND ,BHED was being used to push me out of the family. So here’s an account of my bitter sweet tryst with different families and the eligible bachelors. Eligible bachelor no 1-: Source: A common bitchy relative The meeting: A short and smart looking Delhi based guy, we met at a restaurant with the entire Khandaans from both sides .After initial hesitation we were prompted to move out for a stroll, we discussed about our careers, aspirations etc, .The guy seemed okay and his smiling face showed, he was happy too once we returned to the camp. Result: The proposal didn’t materialize ,not due to horoscopic difficulties but due to the receding hairline of the guy ,which got unnoticed by me ,but could not escape my hawk eyed mamoo.(who got suspicious about his age! ) Thanks to the networking skills of my mom , second rishta followed soon. Eligible bachelor no 2-: Source: - A close aunt who got irritated and initiated the proposal after constant pestering of my mom. The meeting: Never happened, as the guy happened to be a dooooooooor ka cousin and on hearing about me, gave us the shock of our life .He awarded me the title of BEHAN, and flushed all hopes and excitement of me and my parents. I had a serious crush on the 6 feet stunner. Anyways, never mind said my dad, there s a better one waiting for u, said my dad to console me .But god had more games to play ……… Eligible bachelor no 3-: Source-: A match maker (he was approached as we had all got fed up with the tantrums of eligible boys within the family) The meeting-: Happened in a hurry and was a disaster. I was pulled out of my busiest hour of work and was ordered to reach at a restaurant close to my office(as the boy had to leave for Canada ,the next morning ).so there I was in the worst mood with worst attire and a sense of disgust towards the grooms family for behaving so demanding. ,Another round of dekhna dikhana at a restaurant, with the family and the extended families ,chacha ,chachi, mami ,maama, bhua etc .if felt as if I am on an identification parade and people are closely scrutinizing my every move. Surprisingly the family talked , but no efforts were made to let the boy and girl alone . Result : We didn’t receive any call from the family ,and I thanked god for it ,maybe they realized the prospective bahu is a bit too snooty and arrogant for them . (My disgust was openly showing on my face during the rendezvous ,and I got the brick bats from my parents after that ……hehhehe!) Six months passed ,and my mom anxiously waitied for some other proposal to come my way. For me , the entire affair was a pain as I felt like an object of showcase ,waiting for the right customer to come. By this time ,I was so pissed off with my entire affair of dekhna dikhana ,that I had mentally made up my mind that I will say yes to any KALA,PEELA ,INSAAN ,that comes my way Eligible bachelor no 4-: Source: An eagerly awaited rishta , which was being pursued by my mama but was not materializing due to globe trotting boy ,who was not mentally ready for shadi. The meeting : Happened at a gurudwara ,we were again prompted to take a stroll and discuss our terms and conditions .The guy was nice to talk to ,but did not fit my description of an ideal Man ,I said yes to the proposal anyways . Result:I took me sometime to crack the mindset of an ideal Man ,and to accept the person ,but I am deeply grateful to god for getting me just the right husband M proud to say we are happily married for 5 years.

ABOUT MEN
The problems with GUYS :
If u TREAT him nicely, he says u are IN LOVE with him; If u Don't , he says u are PROUD . If u DRESS Nicely , he says u are trying to LURE him; If u Don't , he says u are from VILLAGE . If u ARGUE with him, he says u are STUBBORN ; If u keep QUIET , he says u have no BRAINS . If u are SMARTER than him, he'll lose FACE ; If he's Smarter than u, he is GREAT . If u don't L ove him, he tries to POSSESS u; If u Love him! , he will try to LEAVE u.(very true huh?) If u don't make love with him., he says u don't Love him; If u do !! he says u are CHEAP. If u tell him your PROBLEM , he says u are TROUBLESOME ; If u don't , he says that u don't TRUST him. If u SCOLD him, u are like a NANNY to him; If he SCOLDS u, it is because he CARES for u. If u BREAK your PROMISE, u Cannot be TRUSTED ; If he BREAKS his, he is FORCED to do so. If u SMOKE , u are BAD girl; If he S MOKES , he is GENTLEMAN . If u do WELL in your exams, he says it's LUCK ; If he does WELL , it's BRAINS . If u HURT him, u are CRUEL ; If he HURTS u, u are too SENSITIVE !! & sooo hard to please !!!!!

An evening in Metro!
Want to share an interesting experience while coming back from office.
I boarded metro bound towards Dwarka from cp.
The moment I stepped inside, was welcomed with a sweaty, cold, nauseating odor, which is the most common fragrance one can expect in a jam packed metro.
Luckily! Found a corner to stand, it was a full compartment with senior citizens, middle agers and exhausted office goers. People were busy chatting, sleeping and some of them happily enjoying music thru their glued earphones.
As we approached towards, Kirti nagar, I saw an oversized Sardarji pushing people to get in, he soon got a place to stand and within minutes pushed the man next to him to grab a seat .He then took out his phone and made a call…
The first word we heard before a mild hello was –
O Behenc***d! Kithe e Tu? ( u sister Fuc*r! where r u? )
Tanu 10 minute vich aana see ,o cd kithe e ?(U were supposed to be here in 10 minutes!whr is the CD?)
The men on other side answered something,
Another, Bhainc***d! tanu kut devaanga , 5 minute vich dukan te aa ja! (Sister Fu***r, I will thrash u ,come within 5 minutes to the shop)
Sardarji , was so engrossed in his abusive dialogue that he didn’t realize that entire Bogie was giggling and enjoying his spicy conversation. Some were smiling at each other and exchanging mischievous smiles ,and I wanted to burst out laughing but didn’t know how to react with so many men around .
I deboarded soon as I reached my station , but kept wondering how many sisters the man had and how many times he could tolerate this verbal fucking of his sisters.
It seems conversation in delhi will loose its weight unless men verbally fu**k someones sister atleast ONCE !

Encounter with a convict
Daily life can bring in such thrilling moments at least expected places, I realized it recently.
After a very long time, I boarded a blue line bus to meet a good friend of mine residing in Tilak nagar (west Delhi).Luckily, got a seat in the bus as it was a pleasant afternoon and there was not much rush around. I was quite enjoying the bus ride as it gradually gained momentum .Once we reached Dhaula kuan , I knew my peace of mind would vanish as there is always a heavy rush waiting to pour in .
Thank God! It didn’t happen and instead of many uncivilized and rowdy locals ,I noticed a group of 4 tall and young Delhi policemen entering the bus. The bus moved on ,and 2 of them stood near to my seat ,I couldn’t help admiring their well built tall and fit bodies ,they had a short black gun tied around their shoulders .They were speaking in pure Haryanavi, guess it was about their boss.
Lost in my thoughts , I realized just near to the gun , I could see a thick black chain tied to one of the policemens belt,i strained my neck a little and what I saw froze my heart for a second … chain was actually tied to the handcuff of a criminal who was sitting just behind me .He was a stout man dressed in white shirt –pant , a cap turned back and was chewing a gum as if was quite honored to be escorted by policemen to TIHAR JAIL..
My mind accelerated and gave me a glimpse of what could happen next ..
I decided to get up and moved quickly towards the exit door.I turned to have a last look towards him Mygod ! he was smiling at me as if telling me –U JUST MANAGED TO ESCAPE LADY!
I would never forget this close encounter with a convict in my entire life.
